Gabion baskets are the basic element of most gabion structures.

They are most often used for the construction of retaining walls and various types of regulatory structures, such as bank bands, sills, dams, spurs, etc. Gabions are made of hot-dip galvanized black steel or stainless steel, depending on demand and individual preferences. Using gabion baskets, it is also possible to build non-standard structures, such as noise barriers, fences, building facades, etc. The interior of the gabion basket can be divided by cross partitions at 1.0 m intervals. The partitions increase the strength of the basket, make it easier to install and fill with stones, and prevent deformation of the entire gabion structure. In addition, the opposite walls of the basket are fastened with special fasteners, or tie wire.

As a standard, gabions are made of mesh with a mesh size of 8×10 cm, made of wire with a diameter of 3.0 mm or welded from steel rods.

The gabions are made according to the customer’s request, although the standard dimensions are taken in 0.5m increments and individually recalculate the internal stresses for matching the appropriate size of the basket and any internal partitions.

Gabion – good workmanship, good price.
