Nuts

An important element found in a bolted connection is the nut. It is distinguished by the form of a ring, the thread of which is notched along the entire length of the hole. It is screwed onto the free end of the bolt shank, keeping in mind the assembly orders for the connection.

In terms of shape, nuts are divided into: hexagonal, with locking screw, square, rim triangular, round hole, T-slot, round groove, blind, wing and knurled. In the field of hexagonal models, the following are additionally specified: ordinary, tapered flange, high, low, long, self-locking with polyamide insert or deformed thread, for welding, enlarged for compressed connections, and with reduced key size. In addition, we should also mention nuts for special purposes, such as cap or tension models.
