Zinc is a chemical element with the symbol Zn, from the Latin name Zincum. Titanium zinc alloy is formed from more than 99 percent pure zinc, and you will also find small admixtures of titanium and copper. The titanium zinc material is completely resistant to corrosion. Zinc metal itself is a colored metal, with a bluish-white color. In contact with air it undergoes passivation, and in acidic and alkaline environments it enters into rapid chemical reactions. It is brittle, while in contact with water it does not react. Zinc is used to coat steel sheets, resulting in galvanized sheets that are protected against corrosion.
Titanium zinc is used for roofing, gutter systems (titanium zinc gutters) and making various roof ornaments. With the passage of time, titanium zinc sheet covers itself with a natural layer of patina and does not require additional maintenance on its surface.
At E-Invest you can purchase suitably rigid titanium-zinc sheets, which are easy to solder and do not require painting. They are very durable, so they are great for roofing.
